Cost

Our flight training cost estimates are based on Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 61 minimum completion time requirements.  Additional hours may be required based upon the frequency of student's lessons.  Frequent lessons reduce the repetition of maneuvers already learned.

For advanced ratings (above Private Pilot), we assume that the student will move from one rating to the next.  However, estimated hours for completion of advanced ratings may be reduced based upon the number of hours that have already been logged.

For most ratings, variation in flight time cost is based upon which aircraft is used. Dual Instruction includes cost of flight instructor at $40.00 per hour. All prices for Courses and Instructional personnel are subject to change, without notice.

For Instrument Course:  Costs can be reduced if parts of FAR 61 flight time requirements are already met.

For Commercial Pilot Course: Additional solo time may be needed to meet FAR 61 total pilot time requirements of 250 hours.

For Multi-Engine Rating Course: Flight and ground hours may be reduced based upon student's ability
